I’m so excited for the two of you! Nothing is better than falling in love and building a life together; it’s all so magical and transformative. I hope that someday we can meet for a cup of coffee or a pint, and I can hear all about your ideas, dreams, and details for your big day. Over the next few months, you will be reading, researching, and planning your dream day. So much goes into making everything run smoothly, and picking the right team to help make your dreams a reality is a huge part of it. This is why I wanted to get as much information about choosing a photographer into your hands as possible.
My goal as a photographer is to take HONEST and AUTHENTIC photos of your day, details, family, and loved ones while providing you with a gallery that gives you all the feels and memories from your special day. I want you to look at your photos in two months, a year, or twenty years and feel the same magic you did the day that you said, “I do.”.
Choosing the right photographer is so important. That's why I highly encourage you to take your time and ask all the questions; nothing is off the table. Look around and get to know different photographers. My hope is that you both feel excited, comfortable, and connected with whomever your photographer is because the images will show it. It's important to me that you have the most relaxing experience on your wedding day and that you can trust that you will look amazing and that everything important to you is being captured.

How Does This Work?
Pre-booking
The first step in working together is to meet! Let's grab a coffee or a pint and talk about details, get to know each other, and make sure all your questions have been answered.
The Engagement Session
After we book your wedding, the fun starts! We will pick a date for your engagement session that works best for the two of you. This is a great opportunity for us to get more comfortable with each other while creating great images to help you celebrate the big announcement!
Details
About a month before the wedding, I will send out an email to check in on details and answer any other questions you might have at this time. We will finalize the schedule and go over your lists of formal portraits.
Wedding Day
On a wedding day, I like to show up no later than thirty minutes early. I’ll check in with you and remind you that I work for you! Seriously, whatever you need, let me know. My goal for the day is to capture the day in all of its glory!
Post-Wedding
Within a week of your wedding, I will send and post a preview of ten to twenty images so that you have some photos to help celebrate with! This will also give you an idea of how the whole gallery will look! My goal is to deliver your whole gallery within four weeks of your wedding. You will then have print rights to your images, so you can start printing and sharing them with family and friends. Every gallery is delivered via email link, and I highly encourage you to download your images onto your own external hard drive. I will also back up your images on my own hard drives, but it's always worth making multiple copies.
Other Questions You Might Have
Miles and Lodging
Each wedding collection comes with mileage coverage up to 60 miles. Miles accrued past 60 miles will be charged at the current IRS recommended rate, which is currently $0.67 per mile as of the post date 12/18/2023.
If a wedding location is over 100 miles away from Missoula, MT, a room or Airbnb may be requested. This isn't always the case, as sometimes the schedule allows for me to get on the road a bit earlier, or I might have other plans and locations to get to the following day. I also have a rooftop tent, and if both parties feel comfortable, there have been cases where I have stayed on the property and left the next morning. Let's just talk about it!
How Many Photos Do I get?
The number of images delivered varies depending on the hours booked and what the bride and groom are looking for. On average, I shoot between 1,500 to 3,000 images, and I deliver anywhere between 200 to 900 images edited and ready to print! My goal is to deliver any and all photos that I believe are good. I hope that you end up loving the majority of the photos so that you never have to talk to me again unless you want to book another session ;)
Can We Add Videography or a Second Photographer?
Absolutely! I work with many amazing videographers and photographers throughout Western Montana, and I would be more than happy to show you past weddings and current work that I have collaborated with in years past.
